SERVING SINCE 1916
We are Hornbeck Chevrolet are proud to be a part of the Forest City community. We've been serving the community since 1916, which is why the residents here are like family to us. Forest City is a small, tight-knit community that's located near Union Dale, Vandling and Simpson, meaning there are lots for both residents and visitors to see and do.

All of us at Hornbeck Chevrolet are fortunate to be located in such a beautiful city. Before making your way around Forest City, PA stop by our service department for any necessary maintenance.
Outdoor Recreation
Forest City has lots of opportunities for you to stay active and explore the outdoors by biking, kayaking or hiking. You can check out the 32-mile Lackawanna River Heritage Trail or travel along the 38-mile D&H Rail-Trail. For a day of skiing or snowboarding, you can hit the slopes at the Elk Mountain Ski Resort, which has two terrain parks and 27 trails. Kennedy Park along with the Stillwater Dam and Lake offer more relaxing activities, like picnicking and fishing. You can take in gorgeous scenic views by hiking at the Endless Mountains and see overlooks, covered bridges, preserves and an array of parks.
Arts & Culture
If you enjoy arts and culture, you should head to the Forest City Area Historical Society to learn about Forest City's history. The Anthracite Valley and the Steamtown National Historic Site are also not to be missed by those interested in history. The downtown area of Forest City has an abundance of shops and restaurants for the whole family to enjoy. Some of the great restaurants include Chet's Place, Shirley's Family Diner and the Red Schoolhouse.
The Office
One of our city's biggest claim to fame is that we are located only about half an hour away from Scranton, Pennsylvania, which is famously known as the home of Dunder Mifflin from the hilarious show, "The Office." You can't visit the actual company, but you can check out the Pennsylvania Paper & Supply Company.
